California – Detectives need the public’s help to identify a stabbing suspect
On Sunday, August 29, 2021, at approximately 3:55 p.m., Central Police Officers responded to the area of Belmont and Palm regarding a stabbing victim.
During the investigation, officers located a victim with a stab wound. The injury was later determined to be non-life-threatening.
The victim told detectives he was involved in a verbal disturbance with an unknown Hispanic Male Adult, who produced a small pocket knife and stabbed him. The victim did not know why the subject stabbed him.
The victim was transported to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and was treated for his injury. During the investigation, detectives obtained video footage of the suspect before and after the stabbing.
The suspect is believed to be a heavy-set Hispanic male adult wearing a gray t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, and black and white shoes. The weapon used in the assault is still outstanding.
