Detectives are asking for the community’s help in identifying and locating a man responsible for a robbery at the Family Dollar on Saturday night.
Just before 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the store located at the 900 block of S. Arlington Street and met with the clerk.
According to the employee, the suspect was seen stuffing electronic products into his pockets. The suspect reportedly brandished a handgun and threatened the manager before fleeing the store.
The suspect was last seen getting into a dark-colored vehicle that headed northbound out of the parking lot after the robbery.
Nobody inside the store was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 25 – 30 years old and around 5 feet, 11 inches tall, with a thin build. He had a beard and wore a red, white, and pink tie-dyed hooded sweatshirt.
