RawNews1st – At approximately 8:21 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an in-progress robbery at the Family Dollar located at 3519 Lee Boulevard in Lehigh.
A black male whose face was covered and wearing black shirt and blue shirt and a black male wearing a blue hoodie, black pants and white shoes entered the business and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect threatened to shoot the victim if he did not comply. No weapon was displayed.
If you happen to know the suspects or run into them please call your local authorities or contact 911 immediately.
The suspect in the black shirt went behind the counter and took undisclosed amount of money from the register and also entered an enclosed glass cabinet and removed several packs of Newport cigarettes.
Both suspects left the business heading westbound.
