This morning, at about 1:05 a.m., deputies responded to the 25800 block of Via Lomas Street reference a report of gunshots being heard.
When deputies arrived, they discovered a 20 year old Hispanic male suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
He was treated by Orange County Fire Authority and transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Deputies and Investigators utilized a variety of leads and were able to quickly identify the suspect vehicle in this incident.
At about 2:20 a.m., deputies in the city of Lake Forest located the subject vehicle and attempted to stop it.
The vehicle fled the area and deputies pursued the subjects to the city of Costa Mesa, where both male occupants were arrested. Two loaded firearms were recovered during the arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
