INCIDENT/ARREST:
On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, Hattiesburg Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of William Carey Parkway, at Pine Haven Apartments around 1:15 p.m.
When officers arrived, it was learned that there were two individuals injured during a shooting and both left the scene in a personal vehicle and went to a local hospital for treatment.
Shortly after the shooting, Decantra Deloach, 35, of Hattiesburg, was taken into custody without incident at her residence on Montague Blvd.
Deloach has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault in connection to the shooting at Pine Haven Apartments, around 1:15 p.m.
The two individuals that were shot during the incident are being treated for their injuries at a local hospital.
As the investigation progressed, it was learned that the fight involved all females, and stemmed from an ongoing altercation between juveniles, that resulted in a fight in the parking lot at Pine Haven Apartments.
Deloach is being booked into the Forrest County Jail.
