Deadly Auburn, WA Semi-Truck Crash: 25-Year-Old Driver Arrested for Vehicular Homicide
A tragic collision on State Route 167 in Auburn, Washington, on December 11, 2025, has resulted in a fatality and a felony arrest. At approximately 7:14 a.m., a 29-year-old Bonney Lake man was killed when his vehicle was struck from behind by a semi-truck, driven by 25-year-old Kamalpreet Singh of Elk Grove, California. The impact crushed the victim’s car between two trucks, leading to fatal injuries and prompting a prolonged highway closure during the morning commute.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the victim’s vehicle was stopped in traffic when the semi-truck failed to slow, pushing it into another truck ahead. While the Mazda briefly caught fire, first responders extinguished the flames. Sadly, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the semi-truck driver was arrested on vehicular homicide charges under Washington law for “disregard for the safety of others.”
