Verdigris Police arrest a man over the weekend, accused of walking into a man’s home in Claremore and demanding money at gunpoint.

The victim told police he was in his home when David Hinds walked into the front door, uninvited, pulled out a gun, pulled back the hammer and demanded $100.

The victim said he told Hinds the money was in his wallet and Hinds took the money and left.

The arrest report says Verdigris Police did a traffic stop on Hinds and found the 5, $20 bills, a black holster for a handgun and ammo for a handgun.

I’m told the handgun was recovered near the suspect’s home.
Hinds was arrested for robbery, burglary and having a gun during a felony.
This is an arrest, not a conviction.
