Cyberattack shuts down Ecuador’s biggest bank
A cyberattack has disrupted ATMs and online banking operations for the private financial giant Banco Pichincha.
The network was reportedly targeted over the weekend, and saw the bank shutdown other systems.
When clients attempt to access any of their accounts, a maintenance message appears for many of its 1.8 MILLION customers.
