A man has been arrested, accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home, chasing her with a knife, dragging her around the yard by her hair and trying to take their child away from the woman.
The arrest report for Curtis Barnes, Jr says on September 16th, in Tulsa, he kicked in the front door of his ex’s home and chased her down the hall with a knife and broke into the bedroom and tried to take the child from her.
It says the woman and the child climbed out a window to escape and the woman took the child next door to the woman’s mother’s home.
It says Barnes then tried to break into that home to get to the child, but his ex tried to stop him and that’s when he dragged her around by her hair.
He was booked for felonies, burglary, domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and attempted kidnapping.
These are charges, not convictions.
