Couple in jail after 2-year-old ODs on marijuana and cocaine, police say

A Clermont County couple was arrested on Wednesday after their toddler son nearly died from an overdose.

Emergency crews responded to the home of Travis and Ashley Lelesch after a 911 call said their 2-year-old son was unresponsive.

According to a statement from the Bethel Police Department, the boy was taken to Mercy-Anderson Hospital and later flown by medical helicopter to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

Doctors saved the boy’s life. They determined he had high levels of cocaine and marijuana in his system.

Travis and Ashley Lelesch, both 23, were charged with felony and misdemeanor child endangerment. They were arrested and are being held at the Clermont County Jail.

According to the jail website, the couple received a $150,000 bond.
