The farmer found 30-year-old Ashley Monroe of Lexa near Lee County Road 706, north of Marianna. On May 21, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office asked the Arkansas State Police’s (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to take over the homicide investigation.

According to ASP, they arrested 24-year-old Dodge Pinegar and 30-year-old Shadee Edgin on June 7 in connection with the death of Monroe.
