RawNews1st – A Tulsa couple is charged in federal court, accused of running a meth operation in their garage near 63rd and Mingo with their kids in the house.
The affidavit for Nathaniel and Ashley Burns says he is a Lieutenant in the Universal Aryan Brotherhood, a prison gang that runs a lot of drugs in Northeastern OK.
It says Burns takes his orders from a guy who is currently in prison in OK, who is on the main leadership council for the UAB.
It says agents were told Burns was converting meth from liquid to crystal.
It says during a search warrant, Nathaniel and Ashley Burns and another adult were detained and five children, ages 3, 5, 5, 7 and were removed from the home.
The affidavit says agents seized: 15 gallons of liquid meth, 50 kilos of meth, 206 grams of cocaine, 300 grams of fentanyl, more than $22,000 in cash and 13 guns, including a shotgun from Turkey.
It says Nathaniel Burns denied any involvement in illegal activity.
It says Ashley Burns said she knew her husband was a validated member of the UAB, a convicted felon, a heroin user and involved in illegal activity.
It says she admitted helping him count the drug money, make money deliveries and picking up and transporting guns.
It says despite all this, she admitted letting her two kids and Nathaniel’s 2 kids be in the home.
I don’t have her booking photo since the case is federal.
This is a previous booking photo for him after he was convicted in Lincoln County in 2015 for drugs and given a 10 year prison sentence.
He was released after serving 3 and a half years.
