An investigation into the well-being of two children in Calloway County leads to the arrest of a man and a woman. A western Kentucky couple is facing charges of child abuse.
According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, Samantha and Robert Arnett were arrested at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 23 after an investigation revealed the couple neglected and possibly abused two children, under the age of 12, in their care.
The Murray couple was booked into the Calloway County Detention Facility.
Samantha Arnett, 36, and Robert Arnett, 44, are both charged with two counts each of criminal abuse first-degree–child under 12.
