Two people are in the Muskogee County jail, accused of kidnapping her 84 year old grandfather, hitting him with a tire iron and forcing him for hours to let them use his bank card to take money out of several ATMs in several towns.
Deputies say Heather O’Neal and Dennis Rae also threatened to kill the victim.
Deputies say they worked with Tulsa Police and officers arrested the two at a Tulsa casino.
They say the victim was treated for his injuries and is now safe with family members.
O’Neal and Rae face charges of burglary, robbery and kidnapping.
Records show Rae has been to prison for convictions in Tulsa, Osage and Oklahoma Counties, starting in 1992.
Most recently, he was convicted in Oklahoma County for running from police in a stolen car and served 3 years of a 10 year sentence.
