Corinna Marr, aged 25 years, was a real estate sales agent employed at Weeks and Macklin at Firle.
She also did promotional work through Extreem Modelling Agency.
On Friday 4 July 1997 Ms Marr left work at about 2.30 p.m. to travel to her home address at Howard Street, Collinswood to get ready for a promotion at the Woodville Hotel later that afternoon.
At about 3.15 p.m. the same day, a neighbour walked past Ms Marr’s flat and heard a hair dryer or similar appliance.
The front door was open, although the screen door was closed.
At 4.00 p.m. Ms Marr’s husband arrived home to find she had been murdered and was lying on their bed.
A post mortem examination revealed Ms Marr had died as a result of a gunshot wound.
There has been a few people named of interest over the years, but nothing has been solid enough to press charges.
