COLUMBIA MAN ARRESTED FOR TWO GREENVILLE COUNTY ROBBERIES
Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Armed Robbery Unit have made an arrest in connection with two robberies that occurred this month.
Authorities arrested 22-year-old Charles Jaylen Jefferson of Columbia yesterday afternoon for two counts of Armed Robbery, two counts of Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, Shoplifting , and providing False Information to Police.
The arrest comes after investigators began working two robberies that occurred in the Taylors area at the Shell gas station at 1330 E. Lee Road and the Dollar General on 401 Brushy Creek Road, where Jefferson used a handgun to steal an undisclosed amount of cash.
Jefferson is currently in the Greenville County Detention Center on no bond.
