Colten Thompson has now pleaded guilty to murdering his baby boy in Pawnee.
Thompson admitted he got frustrated because baby Logan was crying and he grabbed the baby by one arm and pulled him out of the bouncer and then dropped the baby onto the bed and hit the baby’s face that day and had also hit the baby several times since he’d come home from the hospital.
Logan had 2 different brain bleeds and a skull fracture.
Logan had been born 8 weeks premature and had spent about a month in the neonatal ICU before coming home.
The boy’s mother was in the hospital with COVID and said she didn’t have anyone else to watch Logan.
She said she called every hour to check on the baby and all was fine until Thompson told her he had picked up the baby rough and the baby’s head fell back and he wasn’t acting right.
She’s the one who called police.
He’ll be sentenced in June.
