Colleyville police are involved in a standoff at a synagogue Saturday afternoon, but little information has been released about the incident.
Police said on Twitter that they were “conducting SWAT operations” in the 6100 block of Pleasant Run Road. Congregation Beth Israel is at that location.
All residents in the immediate area were being evacuated, and police asked people to avoid the area.
On a live stream of the congregation’s Shabbat morning service service, a man could be heard speaking, at times angrily.
The stream began at 10 a.m. and was still playing as of 1:30 p.m..
