CNN’s Cuomo Accused of Sexual Harassing Female Boss at ABC (Report)
A former executive producer at ABC News claims Chris Cuomo gave her a “bear hug” when greeting her at a bar while “lowering one hand to squeeze the cheek of my buttock.”
The alleged sexual harassment incident occurred at a going-away party for a colleague back in 2005 – Shirley Ross in an op-ed for the NYT says she received an email from Cuomo one hour later telling her he was “ashamed” of his actions.
Cuomo had reportedly attempted to justify his actions on the night by stating: “I can do this now that you’re no longer my boss.”
Ross doesn’t want Cuomo to lose his job at CNN but would like to see him use his platform to “journalistically repent” for his behavior… but as his brother Andrew knows, he’s pretty good at ignoring allegations.
