California -The Citrus Heights Police Department served a search warrant in a shopping center located within the 7900 block of Auburn Blvd.
Citrus Heights Police Department Detectives had been investigating an illegal gambling establishment operating at this location for the past couple of months.
The operation was found to be in violation of several state and local laws including possession of a slot machine device and maintaining a place for gambling.
During the service of the search warrant, two subjects were located inside and arrested for outstanding felony warrants and possession of an illegal firearm.
Multiple electronic gambling devices were seized from the location along with illegal drugs.
Citrus Heights IMPACT Detectives worked this case in partnership with the State of California’s – Department of Justice Bureau of Gambling Control. Further investigation into the subject(s) who operated this location is forthcoming.
