RawNews1st – The Cincinnati police officer involved was on routine patrol when she responded to a report of an intoxicated driver.
He was reported to be nodding off and driving erratically.
The officer observed the car dispatchers had described and approached. The driver initially put his hands up, but then he reached into his vehicle, retrieved a gun, and pointed it at the officer as seen in this picture.

The officer responded by firing her duty weapon and killing the suspect.
The suspect’s gun was found to be loaded with a round in the chamber. If the officer had not shot the suspect, she would most likely be dead now.
While it looks like the suspect didn’t have a significant criminal record and was likely intoxicated, he pointed a gun at a police officer- a colossal no-no.
