Ciera Breland has been missing since February 25, 2022. She had gone on a trip with her husband to Georgia; police do not believe she ever made it back home to Carmel, Indiana.
On February 19, 2022, Ciera Breland and her husband, Xavier Breland, arrived in Georgia at Ciara’s dad’s house.
According to news outlets, Ciara had a pleasant visit with her family and enjoyed catching up with everyone.
She had asked her family if she could move back, which they said yes. The following day, February 20, 2022, she left with Xavier. This would be the last time Ciara’s family saw her.
According to news outlets, Ciera’s cousin could not get in contact with Ciera since February 22, 2022. Her cousin stated they had always stood in contact and spoke frequently.
The couple said they were traveling to go visit Xavier’s family, who lived in Johns Creek, Georgia.
Police believe the pair made it to 105453 Highgate Manor Ct., Georgia. Police state Ciera was last seen on 7:17 p.m. on February 24, 2022.
This time has been verified by footage that shows Ciera driving a white 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan with Georgia license plate RMB 5869.
Breland reported his wife missing on February 25, 2022, after the couple allegedly arrived back home in Carmel, Indiana. Breland stated that Ciera had gone to a nearby store around 10:00 p.m. and never returned home.
According to Breland, Ciera was wearing purple shorts with a black shirt, without a jacket, even though temperatures were recorded being as low as 20 degrees (Fahrenheit).
When Ciera went to the store, she did not bring her cellphone, ID, or credit cards.
Police have stated that Xavier Breland is a person of interest in the disappearance of Ciera Breland. According to her missing person’s poster, there has not been any evidence that she has returned home to Carmel, Indiana.
Ceria’s family has told news outlets that they have been informed by police, Ciera did not appear on the security tapes from the store.
Xavier Breland had been arrested and indicted for Aggravated Stalking on March 11, 2021. He had been out on bail, but it has since been revoked. Breland is in custody for unrelated charges that have not been announced.
