PITTSTON TWP. SHOOTING:
37 year-old Christopher Carmona is charged with attempted homicide after police say he shot a 20 year-old woman twice outside a nail salon in a public shopping center, in broad daylight.
The county DA believes it was a targeted incident.
State police tracked him down through purchases he had made shortly before at the Walmart in the same shopping center.
He was observed through video surveillance wandering through the Walmart parking lot, checking out vehicles before heading towards the nail salon.
Police say he was in illegal possession of a gun based on a prior criminal conviction of robbery.
