Christina Applegate is revealing the toughest moments of her multiple sclerosis (MS) journey.
The “Dead to Me” star, 52, got candid about the “intense” leg pain she experienced during her MS relapse, admitting she wasn’t able to walk or shower on Tuesday’s episode of her and Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s “MeSsy” podcast, which was recorded “months ago.”
“My legs have never been this bad so I don’t know what’s going on,” the actress explained. “Like, no energy. Legs are just done.
I can’t get circulation. I can’t get them to stop hurting.”
At the time of the podcast taping, Applegate recalled being unable to “walk to the bathroom without feeling” like she would fall, describing the sensation of “insane tingling” that came from her “butt down.”
The “Bad Moms” star — who revealed she was battling MS in 2021 — furthered she also couldn’t manage taking an actual shower, joking she should buy stock in Cottonelle flushable wipes for keeping her clean.
“I haven’t taken a shower in three weeks because I can’t stand in my shower.
There is no f–king way I can stand in my shower,” she added.
