China PCR Test Orders SOARED Before First Confirmed Covid Case – Italy Finds Molecular Evidence of Virus Circulating in Sept. 2019 (Report)
Purchases of PCR tests in China’s Hubei Province surged MONTHS BEFORE the first official reports of a novel coronavirus there, with the upswing starting in May 2109 – report by cybersecurity firm Internet 2.0.
About 67.4MN yuan (roughly $10.5MN) was spent on PCR tests in Hubei during 2019 – nearly double the 2018 total.
A study in Italy has found molecular evidence and antibodies of Covid-19 circulating as early as September 2019 – after re-testing 1,000 blood samples from a cancer screening program.
Scientists from the Vesmederi Laboratory have since had their findings reportedly confirmed by an independent source. (CGTN)
