Winslow was arrested at around 6:30 a.m. April 27 and is being held in the Fulton County Jail. Police say Winslow was in possession of child sexual abuse materials.
SSPD said they are working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to identify more victims.
“At this time, we are still working through the evidence, so it is unknown the total number of potential victims,” SSPD spokesperson Sgt. Matthew McGinnis said.
Mount Vernon’s CEO Brett Jacobsen released a statement from the school claiming no students or other school employees were involved.
“The safety and well-being of our students is our most important priority, and for that reason, Mr. Winslow, will no longer be part of our School community moving forward,” Jacobsen said.
“Law enforcement has assured us that there is no indication that any of our students or other employees were involved.
This is devastating news for everyone, and we are committed to supporting law enforcement’s investigation however we can.”
