Last month, a Chicago man is accused of carjacking a couple at gunpoint on the city’s West Side.
Sederick Wright, 22, is charged with one count of armed robbery, one count of aggravated vehicular hijacking, and one count of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a minor passenger.
Wright was one of several offenders accused of carjacking a 39-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man in the 1400 block of South Trumbull Avenue on December 15.
Three of the couple’s children, all under the age of 16, were inside when their belongings and vehicle were taken at gunpoint.
Wright was arrested and charged on Sunday.
