Here’s a follow up to a story we told you about in December of 2021.
Chad Hudgins has now been charged with murder in federal court, accused of shooting to death his girlfriend.
An affidavit says the victim’s body was found in a Bristow home on December 17th, 2021, covered in a blanket.
It Hudgins drove the victim’s vehicle to a buddy’s place and asked the buddy for help and took him back to the house and showed him the body.
The buddy says Hudgins said, “I shot her. I didn’t mean to.”
It says Hudgins thought the woman was cheating on him and mentioned he’d tried to make it look like she killed herself.
It says the buddy repeatedly suggested they call 911 but, he felt threatened by Hudgins, so did not.
It says the next day, the victim’s vehicle was found abandoned and burned.
Hudgins was later arrested in Kansas where he’s accused of robbing a Taco Bell and stealing a vehicle and leading officers on 2 separate chases.
This is a previous booking photo.
This case is being handled in federal court because the victim is Cherokee.
Here’s a previous story we did on the case.
