Findlay police officer fatally shoots 17-year-old Kalvin Darapheth, after he shoots first at them

The Lucas County Coroner’s Office identified the teen who died as 17-year-old Kalvin Darapheth.

Findlay Police said officers were dispatched to Bernard Park around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 28 for a report of three juveniles drinking alcoholic beverages. Police said the kids were a 13-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl, and a 17-year-old boy.

Police said when officers arrived on the scene, Darapheth ran away and an officer began to chase him. During the chase, Darapheth fired two shots toward the officers, and one of the officers returned fire.

During the news conference, police revealed the officer who shot the teen is a four-year veteran of the department.

He fired his weapon eight times. The other responding officer was a 10-year veteran who did not fire their weapon.

The Monterey County District Attorney’s Office has released body camera video of a shooting that resulted in a Carmel police officer killing an armed suspect.

James Marshall, 27, of Carmel, was seen roaming the streets of Carmel-by-the-Sea with what appeared to be a long rifle before being confronted by three Carmel police officers, including the police chief, on the morning of Oct. 25, on a property on Monte Verde Street.

The weapon Marshall was threatening neighbors with appeared to be an AK-47-style rifle. The district attorney’s office said it was a BB gun that looked like a real assault rifle.

Carmel police received a call from a person who said that their neighbor had brandished a rifle at them.

The suspect’s mother called 911, saying her son was having a breakdown and wanted to die by police. She also told police her son was armed with a firearm.

TMZ – Morrissey is way too popular for his own good, and the proof is what went down Saturday night that caused him to abruptly pull the plug on his concert.

Morrissey was performing at the Fair Park Music Hall in Dallas, and the show went great until the encore. He returned to the stage to sing “First of the Gang to Die,” when a fan hopped onstage to get close to him.

Then a copycat goes in for a hug as Morrissey’s bodyguard nervously tries to monitor the situation. Another fan does the same, and another and another.

It goes from shaking hands to going in for a hug, and the 2 bodyguards are clearly feeling the heat — all the while, Morrissey is singing.

Fan after fan jumps onto the stage, but the final straw was a dude who bolted up and it got way too crazy, so Morrissey was rushed off stage.

There was a casualty … looks like one of the bodyguards messed up his leg, because he hopped off stage — clearly unable to put weight on one of his feet.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer sends bizarre message to Donald Trump.

“Keep Detroit out of your mouth Donald Trump. In the words of Aretha, show Detroiters a little respect.”

The governor of Michigan is also getting backlash from the oddly Doritos video.

Whitmer appeared on CNN to address critical remarks former President Trump made about Detroit during his speech in the city this week, as well as Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign and questions about how she’s different from President Biden.

But CNN’s Kate Bolduan didn’t bring up an unusual clip of Whitmer making the Internet and media rounds that a CNN panel had mocked the night before.

Liberal journalist Liz Plank posted a video this week of Whitmer feeding her a Doritos chip, with the camera then panning to Whitmer in a Harris-Walz camo hat, staring and nodding at the camera, with a cover of the song “Dilemma” playing in the background. It was part of a viral trend on TikTok of people feeding each other.

When asked for comment, a political aide for Whitmer told Fox News Digital, “the governor’s social media is well known for infusing her communications with pop culture.”

Virginia McCullough was jailed for 36 years today after slipping her father, John, 70, a lethal “cocktail of prescription medication” in his Guinness. Realising she faced jail for his murder, she then bludgeoned her mother, Lois, 71, with a rusty hammer and stabbed her eight times with a kitchen knife.

For four years she used the cover of Covid to conceal her crimes, posing as the elderly couple in messages to her siblings and even pretending to be them in phone calls to the GP and the police.

She even sent her siblings birthday cards purporting to be from her vulnerable parents which she ordered online with pre-printed messages.

But after McCullough continued to squander their pensions and built up debts on their credit cards. In total she stole cash to the tune of £149,697 before and after the murders.

Police eventually began a missing persons probe and they stormed the family home in Plump Hill, Chelmsford, Essex, on September 15 last year and discovered the elderly couple’s badly decomposed bodies.

Socially awkward recluse McCullough was captured on body-worn footage making a chilling confession as she was arrested, telling officers: “I know I don’t seem 100 per cent evil.” Investigators discovered McCullough had been swindling their finances for years before the attack and struck as she feared her lies were about to be exposed.

Today prosecutors applied for a whole life order that would have meant McCullough died in prison, claiming she was “motivated for financial gain” and had made “concerted and extreme steps to conceal the bodies”.

It would have made her only the fifth woman in UK history to get a whole life sentence and put her in the same ranks as some of Britain’s most heinous killers, including Rose West, Lucy Letby and Joanna Dennehy
