Skip Bayless and Fox are being sued for sexual harassment. A lawsuit alleges Bayless offered 1.5 million dollars for s*x and gave “lingering hugs and kisses… pressing against her breasts.”

Noushin Faraji, who says she worked at Fox Sports from 2012 through last August, made a series of allegations in the 42-page lawsuit obtained by Front Office Sports. Fox, Fox Sports, FS1, FS2, FOX Sports EVP Charlie Dixon, Bayless and FS1 host Joy Taylor are listed as defendants in the lawsuit filed on Friday.

In the suit filed in Los Angeles, Faraji alleges that Dixon, the head of content for FS1, grabbed her buttocks at a birthday party in West Hollywood. When she relayed the encounter to Taylor, the Fox host allegedly told her to “get over it,” according to the suit.

The lawsuit seeks class-action status on behalf of Faraji and other nonexempt Fox employees working in California over the past four years. Faraji seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

After starting work on the Undisputed morning show starring Bayless, the suit alleges that he began giving Faraji “lingering hugs and kisses on the cheek while putting his body against hers and pressing against her breasts.”

The single mother alleges she repeatedly told Bayless she was not interested in him and did not “date at work”.

She also claims she told Bayless she was suffering from ovarian cancer, after developing issues with her left ovary, in an effort to halt his advances.

Instead, Bayless became more aggressive over the years, according to the suit. He allegedly offered Faraji $1.5 million to have sex with him–and claimed he could “change” her life. The suit also claims Bayless accused Faraji of sleeping with Shannon Sharpe, his co-star on Undisputed.

As the suit alleges: “Approximately one week later, Mr. Bayless made another advance at Ms. Faraji. Ms. Faraji responded: ‘Skip, stop, you have a wife.’ Mr. Bayless responded: ‘Aren’t you Muslim? Doesn’t your dad have three to four wives?’

Ms. Faraji responded that her father was dead, and when Mr. Bayless looked taken aback, she made an excuse to leave.”

During her time at Fox, Faraji alleges she made multiple complaints to the Human Resources and Employee Relations departments. 

Meanwhile, the suit alleges Taylor began “insulting Ms. Faraji on a personal and professional level” after their friendship ended. The suit also alleges that Taylor mocked the “English” pronunciation of Faraji, who is of Persian descent.

“Her lengthy tenure at Fox Sports and not-so-thinly-veiled references to multiple anonymous witnesses suggests that she may have the receipts to back up her version of the events,” said Daniel Wallach, a sports law attorney and co-host of the podcast Conduct Detrimental. “Just as importantly, she contemporaneously raised these issues with co-workers, which, in the jurors’ eyes, could boost the credibility of these claims.”

On December 20, 2024 at about 10 p.m., police say they responded to a deadly stabbing took place on the 300 block of North Soldano Avenue in Azusa, California. Upon arrival, officers found a girl suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died.

The victim was identified as 17-year-old Angelina Camillia Gonzales.

Family members said the suspect picked her up from a cheerleading banquet and brought her back to his house. Her stepfather then tracked her cell phone location.

Angelina Gonzales was allegedly stabbed by 18-year-old Daniel Rodriguez, an ex-boyfriend.

Rodriguez faces a murder charge, along with an allegation of the use of a deadly weapon. He remains jailed in lieu of $2 million bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on January 8, 2025.

The motive for the attack is still under investigation.

Greg Gumbel, a longtime sportscaster who called the NFL for CBS for decades and served as the studio’s host during the NCAA Tournament, has reportedly died, Emmy-winning producer Dan Forer wrote on Facebook on Friday.

“The holidays are supposed to be filled with joy, but they are often mixed with sorrow,” Forer wrote. “I just learned that my dear friend Greg Gumbel has passed.

Greg was the best announcer a young producer/director could have because he was extremely inclusive and never ever lost his cool — except for the time we were shooting a Super Bowl Anti-Drug PSA in the South Bronx at 2am and live gunfire erupted.

That was the only occasion Greg raised his voice and had a few choice words for me; which I deserved.

“In addition to being a true professional he was a kind, magnificent man. May his memory be a treasured blessing for his family and friends.”

Gumbel was 78 years old.

No cause of death was revealed.

If you thought the wait between NCAA Football 14 and this year’s EA Sports College Football 25 was long (10-plus years), then just wait until you find out that the last NCAA Basketball title was published in 2009.

In other words, it’s been well over 14 years since NCAA Basketball 10 was released.

According to information from Insider Gaming’s Mike Straw, both EA and Take Two (2K) have had internal conversations about reviving the long dormant college basketball video game franchise. Straw added, “there are groups within both companies pushing heavily for it.”

Coming off the success that was College Football 25, it makes complete sense that either company would want to revive basketball. Either to get a share of the pie (2K and Take-Two) or extend its college dominance (EA).

One thing is clear either way: no matter who takes the leap, a college basketball game is still quite far away.

The NCAA’s Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rules mean the student athletes involved would be entitled to a payday for being included in a game.

EA has some experience with that already thanks to CFB 25, but NCAA basketball is a different beast.

There are 364 Division I teams to account for—nearly double the amount they worked with in the FBS subdivision of college football. More teams means more work to be done (and more athletes to be paid).

NCAA Basketball teams roster a maximum of 15 players. That’s just a fraction of the 120 players per roster allowed in football, but adding schools means adding logos, jerseys, arenas, and more.

That’s a lot of effort no matter how you split it.

Still, this is the first good news for fans of college basketball games in years.

Oklahoma’s Blake Griffin was the last collegiate basketball cover athlete. He’s gone from rookie to superstar to retiree in the time since we last got our hands on a game. It’s far past time to make that right.

Charlie Woods made a smooth swing on a 7-iron that he stared down all the way; the ball landed roughly 6 feet left of the hole and released into the center of the cup.

Mid-air, the younger Woods asked for the ball to cut. It did just that, and Charlie Woods paused in disbelief for a few moments, a wry smile on his face, before sharing a strong hug with his dad.

The smile perhaps burned brighter on the elder Woods’ face, who then gave his son a light push that conveyed pure joy.

“It was a perfect 7-iron, so just kind of hit it,” Charlie Woods said on the Golf Channel broadcast as he approached the fourth green.

“Down off the left, a little cut 7. It was awesome. I didn’t think it went in. I don’t believe anybody until I go up there and see it.”

The ace moved Team Woods back in front at the PNC Championship, into the solo lead at 17-under total, one clear of Vijay and Qass Singh at the time.

Team Woods opened the final round with two consecutive birdies before a par at the par-5 third, setting the stage for the hole-in-one heard around the golf world.

Team Woods shared the first-round lead at 13-under 59, alongside Team Langer and Team Singh. In four prior PNC Championship appearances, Team Woods’ best finish is runner-up in 2021, two strokes behind John Daly and John Daly II.

Karl-Anthony Towns said he got a “warm feeling” entering the Target Center again Thursday morning, but that still didn’t mask how strange it was for him to be entering the arena he called home for nine seasons as a visiting player for the first time.

Towns will play his first game in Minnesota as a member of the New York Knicks on Thursday night, his first game against the Timberwolves since he was traded days before the start of training camp in September.

“I know it’s going to be a lot,” Towns said with a laugh as he considered the emotions of the game later that evening. “But just appreciate every second, every moment and appreciate being back here.”

Towns, who was selected No. 1 overall by the Wolves in the 2015 NBA draft, said he still feels a strong connection to Minnesota, which includes keeping tabs on his former teammates from afar.

“I’m an avid Timberwolves fan, so I watch a lot of the games when I get a chance,” Towns said. “They’re still my brothers. They’re still my guys. Just because a trade happened, doesn’t mean I lost love for them. The brotherhood is always going to be there.”

The Wolves and Knicks pulled off a blockbuster trade the weekend before the start of training camp, sending Towns to New York in exchange for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo. The trade was a shock for Towns, who had spent his entire career in Minnesota, and especially with the Wolves fresh off an appearance in the Western Conference finals.

“I’m not used to landing and going to a hotel in Minnesota,” Towns said. “I don’t know, that has never happened since the day I got drafted.”

Towns said he did end up spending the night in his home in Minnesota before the game, and thought multiple times how strange it would be to come through the visiting tunnel before the game.

Towns rattled some of his most impactful memories in a Wolves jersey, getting to play with Kevin Garnett during his rookie season, watching Derrick Rose drop 50 points in 2018 and Minnesota’s victory over the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the 2024 playoffs, which sent the Wolves to the conference finals for only the second time in franchise history.

And when Towns was asked whether he missed Minnesota, he didn’t skip a beat.

However, the 58-year-old failed to hold up his end of the deal and instead, scheduled the fight with Jake Paul.

The suit claims that Tyson and his company Tyrannic terminated the agreement they made on the day the Netflix special was announced in March.

It has been alleged that Medier breached the contract, causing Tyson to end it. However, the company has denied doing anything wrong and according to USA Today, claims their actions did not breach the legal contract.

They claim that the Tyson’s actions have cost about 1.46 million euros ($1.6 million). The company’s lawyer said: “The true reason for Mr Tyson and Tyrannic’s hasty and unlawful termination was because Mr Tyson had agreed a deal, sponsored by Netflix, to fight the influencer Jake Paul,”.

“It is the company’s position that Medier, Ltd. materially breached the terms of its license agreement on multiple occasions and in various ways,”

“As such, Tyrannic, LLC was well within its legal and contractual rights to terminate the license agreement for material breach in an effort to mitigate additional reputational harm to the Tyson brand.”

The fight took place November 16 in the AT&T Stadium between the boxing legend and YouTuber, Jake Paul. The eight-round fight ended in favor of the 27-year-old.

ESPN – Premier league footballer Michail Antonio has been involved in a serious car crash in Essex near London and got airlifted to hospital.

West Ham forward Michail Antonio was involved in a “road traffic accident” on Saturday, the Premier League club has announced.

“The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the Club are with Michail, his family and friends at this time,” West Ham said in a statement.

“The Club will issue an update in due course.”

West Ham provided no further details. They are due to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Monday.

Liverpool‘s Premier League clash with Everton at Goodison Park has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions on Merseyside.

The four other Premier League games Saturday remained on as planned.

The final league Merseyside derby at Goodison — ahead of Everton’s move to a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock — was set to kick off at 12.30 p.m on Saturday.

However, it has now been confirmed the match will not go ahead owing to the effects of Storm Darragh, with strong winds of up to 70mph forecast in the region.

Conversations between the two clubs and the local authorities took place on Saturday morning, with concerns for safety of supporters travelling to Goodison leading to the call to postpone being made. The fixture is now likely to be rearranged as a night game later in the season.

An Everton statement on Saturday morning said: “Following a Safety Advisory Group meeting at Goodison Park, attended by officials from both clubs, as well as representatives from Merseyside Police and Liverpool City Council this morning, it was decided that, due to the risk to safety in the local area due to strong wind gusts, and an amber severe wind warning that remains in place until 6 a.m on Sunday, today’s fixture should be postponed on safety grounds.

Bleacherreport.com – Conferences could be a thing of the past when the NBA looks toward expansion.

Seattle and Las Vegas appear to be viable expansion targets for the NBA, but their inclusion could force some other franchises to move over to the Eastern Conference to balance the league.

However, the difference in strength between the two conferences could necessitate a different change, as Brian Windhorst of ESPN reported that coaches and executives in the West believe eliminating conferences altogether may be the best option.

While that could result in a difficult travel schedule in the postseason, some executives believe improving the overall product should be the NBA’s priority.

“As West coaches and executives grow exasperated looking at what records might qualify for the postseason in the East, they’re floating a concept. The NBA is slowly moving toward expansion, perhaps 2-3 years from now, with Seattle and Las Vegas as the top candidates.

If that happens, there will potentially be a battle between the Mississippi River teams (the Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans) to be the ‘fortunate’ one to move East to balance the conferences at 16 clubs apiece.

Instead of dealing with that thorny competition, West executives told ESPN they believe both issues can be corrected by dropping conferences altogether and seeding teams 1 through 16 regardless of geography.”

Currently, only four teams in the Eastern Conference are above .500, while 12 teams in the Western Conference are at .500 or above. While it is still early in the season, that’s an alarming trend. It could result in some mediocre teams making the postseason while solid teams miss out strictly due to geography.

Additionally, the weaker level of competition in the East could lead to an easier playoff run for the eventual conference champion, while the West team has to survive a gauntlet. That could cause a significant advantage in the NBA Finals.

A 1-16 seeding format could ensure a more balanced postseason and might eliminate some of the major mismatches that occur early in the playoffs. While managing the travel could be difficult, increasing the entertainment value may be the best approach for the league.
