Rapper Method Man was arrested after he allegedly caught his daughter’s ex-boyfriend at the gym and punched him in the face multiple times!!

Method Man was allegedly involved in an assault at a Crunch Fitness gym on Staten Island on Thursday, according to the New York Post. Citing law enforcement sources, the outlet says the legendary Wu-Tang Clan rapper allegedly punched a man in the face seven times “with a closed fist.”

Method Man was reportedly upset about a relationship the alleged 28-year-old victim had with his daughter over a decade ago.

Method Man has three children with his wife, Tamika Smith: Shakuan, Raekwon, and Cheyenne. He’s often spoken about the importance his family plays in his life. Appearing on The Come Up Show in April 2011, he explained that he felt compelled to clean up his public image after their birth.

“When I first out, I was young. We [were] doing our thing,” he said at the time, as caught by People. “Now, I have to use more discretion because of my kids. This is not for me, everything I do is for them.”

Cheyenne has been working on a hip-hop career of her own in recent years.

Method Man brought her on stage at the 4/20 Bud Drop concert in New York City, last April. “This is my baby,” he told the crowd during the show. “You know we prefer our daughters — we love our sons too! Something about daddy’s girl.”

The next time we see Harry Potter on screen will be the HBO TV adaptation

You might have seen it happen, you’re browsing social media, and you’ll see a poster or even a trailer, for a film in a franchise you love.

You look a little closer and see that it’s A.I. slop pushed out in the hopes of teasing the fanbase. This is something that keeps happening in the Harry Potter community with fake rumours about a film adaptation of the stage play, The Cursed Child.

You only have to look at this Reddit thread asking the same question to see it’s a resounding no from fans.

“Nah The Cursed Child isn’t a real book, no matter what JK says, it’s horrible and makes no sense,” says Hiozanrael.

The only reason many fans could imagine this is due to the nostalgia they have for the series of books and films they grew up on.

This is pointed out by many, with BARD3NGUNN continuing, “Honestly I’d hate to see Cursed Child turned into a film, the story is dreadful and the only reason it works is how technically impressive it all is on the stage.”

The chorus of ‘no’ carries on throughout the thread, with one user saying, “I hated the play, so I’d probably hate the movie.”

The play follows events from the Harry Potter universe 19 years after the final book, and it has been a stage play for some time.

The downside to this, is theatre tickets can be expensive, whereas a film can be watched again and again, so you can see the appeal.

However, staunch fans just don’t want it.

“It’s literally just a bad fanfiction,” said one fan, with another agreeing and saying, “it just seems like horribly written fanfic.”

Ben Affleck received an unexpected knock on his door from law enforcement officials amid raging wildfires. FBI agents and LA County Sheriff’s Department deputies showed up at the 52-year-old actor’s residence in the upscale Brentwood area of Los Angeles.

Affleck’s driveway gate remained locked after the FBI agents and Sheriff’s deputies used the call box adjacent to it.

An FBI agent was observed wearing body armor with the same emblem on the back, while another sported a short-sleeved shirt with the agency’s logo on the back.

Two more law enforcement officers were spotted leaving the property. One of them was donning a utility vest and the other sported a jacket with the Sheriff’s Department logo on it.

The filmmaker’s $20.5 million mansion has so far remained protected, despite being situated on the border of Pacific Palisades, which has been destroyed by the flames.

A statement from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner stated that as of Sunday evening, 24 people have lost their lives in the Eaton fire and the Palisades inferno.

The actor-turned-director was seen last week returning home in the evening with a shocked expression on his face as flames were visible close. After a hasty evacuation, Ben hurried to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s Brentwood house to assist her and their kids in reaching safety.

He was spotted giving his oldest daughter Violet a tender embrace over the weekend, implying that he was especially focused on his family.

Meanwhile, Garner got emotional and disclosed losses caused due to raging fire.

Speaking with chef Jose Andres and Katy Tur on MSNBC, she admitted, “I did lose a friend who did not get out on time.”

After watching one of the least likable American casts during the back half of 2024, it’s finally time for them to sit down with Shaun Robinson and explain themselves. For those needing a recap of this season or some quick answers on where things stand with couples now, look no further. You could rewatch this season with a Max subscription.

Loren Allen traveled to the Philippines in the hope of starting a new life with Faith Tulod, and the couple almost immediately struggled. Loren revealed he had an STD from cheating on her, and Faith struggled with how to proceed despite advice from her sisters to forgive him.

The couple did get engaged briefly, though she broke it off shortly later.

We knew, thanks to Loren doing podcasts ahead of the season, that he was no longer with Faith before it was shown on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days and that he never actually took the relationship seriously. We also know that Loren married someone in the United States shortly after returning from the trip and has since divorced as of December 2024.

Niles And Matilda – Married

Niles Valentine worried about breaking Matilda Nti’s heart when he had to tell her they couldn’t get married on his trip to see her in Africa. Initially, she was heartbroken, but it didn’t last long after his Ghanaian mentor Mr. Arc convinced him to change his mind.

The two were wed in Africa, and Niles said he would begin the steps to obtain a spousal visa for his bride.

While social media made it appear as though they weren’t together, we have no reason to suspect these two split. In fact, I’m curious to see whether they will appear in a future spinoff and we get to see how they adjust to life together both in the United States.

Rayne And Chidi – Broken Up

Rayne Fernandez felt she was the soulmate of Chidi Ikpeamaeze, and felt his blindness would help her with the body issues she had in past relationships. Unfortunately, the relationship went sour immediately after she traveled to see him in Africa, as she waged war with his sister and called her too controlling. The two ultimately broke up, with Rayne leaving shortly after the trip.

On social media, Chidi shed some light on some of the issues in their relationship that viewers didn’t see on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. For example, Rayne used to talk about them being attacked by vampires and cannibals, and he also noted it had been three years since they last dated prior to her trip.

It doesn’t sound like they’ll be on the tell-all, but Chidi may be coming to the United States to get help for his eyesight.

Brian And Ingrid – Broken Up

Brian Muniz was hoping to start a new life with Ingrid in Brazil, but was afraid his limited mobility after being shot would impact their relationship. While it might’ve played a factor, there’s no denying that his lying about his age, his history with drugs, or that he was married several times also didn’t drive her away. Plus, her mother did not like him, so it’s safe to say the relationship never really took off despite his trip to Brazil.

I don’t think it’s a surprise to anyone that these two 90 Day Fiancé stars are not currently together. Brian hinted in the trailer for the tell-all that Ingrid might’ve even had a boyfriend when they were filming their storyline, so we’ll see how much truth there is to that.

Tigerlily And Adnan – Married

Tigerlily and Adnan Abdelfattah intended to get married as soon as she arrived in Jordan, and they did just that. Unfortunately, the Texan mother realized there was a lot about Middle Eastern customs she was unfamiliar with and wasn’t entirely sure she wanted to adhere to those rules.

The season ended with her worried because Adnan gave his brother power of attorney, which allowed him to take out loans in her name.

Soap Opera icon, Leslie Charleson, known as Monica Quartermaine on “General Hospital,” died Sunday morning after a long illness. She was 79.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear friend and colleague, Leslie Charleson,” “General Hospital” executive producer Frank Valentini announced.

“Her enduring legacy has spanned nearly 50 years on ‘General Hospital’ alone and, just as Monica was the heart of the Quartermaines, Leslie was a beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew.

I will miss our daily chats, her quick wit and incredible presence on set. On behalf of everyone at ‘General Hospital,’ my heartfelt sympathy goes out to her loved ones during this difficult time.”

The beloved actress who joined the soap in 1977, has had some health ups and downs over the past few years, which has limited her time on the ABC soap, where she hasn’t appeared since December 2023.

In recent years, she has suffered several falls that prevented her from getting around. Although it impeded her mobility and resulted in her need for a walker, it never got her spirit down. She was hospitalized last week after one such fall.

The Kansas City native began her long career on daytime television in 1964 when she was just 19 in the short-lived ABC soap opera “A Flame in the Wind.” A few years later she began a 3-year-run on CBS’s “Love Is a Many Splendored Thing,” where she played Iris Donnelly Garrison, who was in a popular love triangle with characters played by Donna Mills and David Birney.

Richard Cohen, award-winning journalist and husband to former “Today” host Meredith Vieira, died after battling pneumonia for two months, Vieira’s rep confirmed. He was 76.

Cohen died on Christmas Eve, Vieira’s rep Michael Gantz confirmed to USA TODAY on Tuesday. The Hudson Independent was the first to report the news. Cohen was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis over 50 years ago, according to the “Today” show, and he survived two bouts of cancer.

Vieira and Cohen were married for nearly four decades and share three children: Benjamin, 36, Gabriel, 34, and Lily, 32.

Cohen was himself a journalist, winning three Emmy awards for his work at CBS News before moving to CNN. He also spent time at both PBS and ABC.

“You don’t have to be controlled by it,” he told Yahoo Life in 2019 of MS. “I can give you a long list of things that I can’t do anymore. You just sort of learn to accept that. I look at our three kids, I look at our relationship, I’ve written four books … what do I have to complain about?”

Beyond broadcast, Cohen wrote a health column for The New York Times and authored several books: one chronicling his own health battles and another spotlighting five different individuals dealing with chronic diseases.

Multiple sclerosis, or MS, is a chronic condition that causes a breakdown of the nerves’ protective coverings resulting in numbness and difficulty walking and seeing, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Left legally blind by MS, Cohen told Vieira about his illness on their second date, according to “Today.”

“I told her about the illness, because I sort of learned the hard way to get it on the table. And she really didn’t blink,” he told Yahoo Life.

His legacy remains not just a prolific career in news but a conversation cracked open about health and life with chronic illness.

Disney will combine its Hulu+ Live TV service with Fubo, merging together two internet TV bundles, the companies announced on Monday.

Disney will become majority owner of the resulting company — the publicly traded Fubo company — with a 70% ownership stake. Fubo shareholders will own the remaining 30% of the company.

Both Hulu+ Live TV and Fubo are streaming services that mimic the traditional cable TV bundle, offering linear TV networks.

Together the streaming services have 6.2 million subscribers.

Both services will still be available separately to consumers after the deal closes.

Hulu+ Live TV can be streamed through the Hulu app, as well as part of Disney’s bundle that also includes Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+.

Jimmy Saville, longtime BBC employee, raped over 400 children while being paid millions by the BBC

Savile, who was known for hosting the long-running music show Top of the Pops and BBC’s Jim’ll Fix It, died in 2011 at age 84 before his horrific history of sexual abuse came to light.

In the aftermath of his passing, hordes of people came forward claiming that Savile had molested, raped or otherwise abused them.

Allegations against Savile indicate that he sexually violated upwards of 400 people over a 54-year span (1955 to 2009), with his victims ranging in age from 5 to 75.

Investigators were able to corroborate dozens of stories from Savile’s past, and the nation was shocked, left to grapple with the consequences of a man who was never held accountable in his lifetime for generations of trauma.

Now the new documentary, executive produced by David Glover and Mark Raphael, explores the former DJ’s rise to fame, his fall from grace and the powers surrounding him.

Savile began building his career in the mid-1950s, freelancing as a radio host at events around the UK. His humorous style and affability helped him skyrocket in popularity.

In 1958, he became a full-time DJ at Radio Luxembourg, and in 1968, Savile joined BBC Radio 1, where he worked for some 20 years. Eventually, Savile was able to parlay his broadcast skills into lucrative TV-hosting gigs, and he became regarded as a top-tier celebrity interviewer, admired for his unique combination of frivolity and physical comedy.

“He understood that there was a connection you could have with people through a TV screen,” says British TV critic Mark Lawson. “He did have skill as a broadcaster but I’d sort of forgotten about that because of the later depravity.”

Throughout his career, Savile regularly worked with charities for Broadmoor psychiatric hospital, the Duncroft School and the Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Not only did he raise money, but he also put in hours of time actually helping attendants and orderlies. Broadmoor staff even gave him his own room when he visited.

His charitable work caught the attention of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who praised him publicly and privately and lobbied for him to receive a knighthood.

He received the OBE in 1971 and his knighthood from the Queen of England and from Pope John Paul II in 1990, after which he became Sir James Savile. He was also connected to politicians, police and members of Parliament for decades before he was publicly accused of any abuse.

The victims’ ages at the time of the abuse ranged from 8 to 47.

450 people came forward with information related to Jimmy Savile.

The reported abuses occurred between 1955 and 2009, most of them in Leeds and London.

82 percent of those who came forward are female.

73 percent of Savile’s victims were under age 18; 27 percent were adults.

Lil Durk’s ‘Murder For Hire’ trial date has been pushed back from January to October 2025.

Feds have 230 gb and 20,000 pages of evidence against Lil Durk and his co-defendants, including audio/video recordings and witness statements.

According to court documents, the government is currently producing a discovery that includes “approximately 230 GB of digital evidence,” such as audio recordings and surveillance footage.

Additionally, it will encompass approximately “20,000 pages of reports concerning murder and other violent acts, photographs, witness statements, and medical documents.”

Lil Durk’s co-defendant Asa “Boogie” Houston, who was set to appear before the court on Jan. 14, has already pushed back against the decision. Meanwhile, Deandre Dontrell Wilson — one of the five Only The Family (OTF) affiliates who were arrested in October — is seeking a “pre-plea sentence report.”

The “All My Life” rapper was denied bond in December. His attorneys offered to put up $1 million in cash from Sony Music and another $2.3 million in house equity. They also proposed to have him under 24-hour surveillance.

However, Judge Patricia Donahue argued that there was no way to “reasonably assure the safety of the community” and that Lil Durk exercises “a significant amount of control over others.”

Among the charges against the Chicago native are conspiracy, use of interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death and using, carrying and discharging firearms — including a machine gun — in furtherance of a crime of violence resulting in death.

Prosecutors believe he was involved in a retaliation shooting that led to the murder of Quando Rondo’s cousin, Lul Pab, in 2022.

The epic plot twist in the 2010 psychological thriller left us all reeling the first time we watched it – so much so, that a lot of viewers went back for seconds, and thirds.

Which is how this movie buff managed to spot a series of ‘major clues’ which were slipped into the opening scenes that went over most peoples’ heads. Check out the trailer here:

Film fanatic Alex, better known as StarkVerse online, shared a TikTok video breaking down all the subtle hints in Shutter Island which signalled that not everything was as it seemed.

Leonardo DiCaprio starred as US Marshal Edward ‘Teddy’ Daniels, who heads out to a hospital which houses the criminally insane in search of a patient who has vanished.

He is accompanied by his so-called partner Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo) and ends up having quite the terrifying experience as he investigates the disappearance.

However, viewers were left open mouthed when the truth emerged at the end of the film.

It turned out that DiCaprio’s character was actually on a wild goose chase, as he was in fact a patient at the creepy hospital himself.

The ‘investigation’ was a farce – which everyone on the island was in on – that was arranged by Dr. Cawley (Ben Kingsley) as a sort of role-play therapy to help him confront his past.

It’s safe to say a few of us dropped our popcorn when we realised DiCaprio wasn’t the hero after all – but it turns out there were a ton of tip-offs littered in the opening scenes.

According to Alex, it ‘took him 14 years’ to cotton onto all of this clever foreshadowing, so don’t get disheartened if you never managed to pick up on them yourself.

In the video, the social media star explained: “It’s a movie that definitely rewards multiple viewings.

“It’s an entirely different experience watching this movie when you know all the twists at the end, because there are so many big clues very early in the film that are mind-blowing.

“Like in the beginning of the movie, we can see Teddy taking a ferry to Shutter Island and we can see him not feeling well. And he thinks this is because he is seasick – but actually, the ocean water reminds his brain of what his wife did to his kids.”

There’s the first bombshell for you…but Alex reckons the boat journey to Shutter Island is brimming with even more nods to the plot twist, too.

He continued: “Then he goes up on the deck and he meets Chuck, and Teddy doesn’t think it is weird that he meets the only other US Marshal on the boat – when in reality, they would have gotten on the boat together.

“It’s so easy to accept this just as ‘normal’ for the audience, but then when they arrive on the island, if you pay attention to the guards, all of them tense up almost as if they would be afraid of Teddy.”

Alex concluded by discussing the ‘most obvious’ clue which was inserted into the beginning of Shutter Island, which occurs when Teddy and Chuck arrive at the hospital.
