Evacuations ordered, cars and homes damaged as flash flooding hits Riverside, San Bernardino counties
Oak Glen Rd, Yucaipa CaSevere flash flooding occurred this afternoon over the San Bernardino County mountain burn scar areas causing heavy mud flow and debris. Oak Glen and Forest falls both had road closures and evacuations going on late this afternoon.

At 302 PM PDT, Emergency Management reported flash flooding along Highway 160 at mile marker 35. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Thunderstorms continue to produce heavy rain across northeastern San Bernardino County and are moving toward Sandy Valley. HAZARD…Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

Pahrump, Rainbow Canyon, Spring Mountains, Mt. Charleston, Mary Jane Falls Campground, Lovell Canyon Campground, Mcwilliams Campground, Dolomite Campground, Fletcher View Campground, Kyle Canyon Campground, Mahogany Grove Campground, Hilltop Campground, Sandy Valley and Willow Creek Campground.
Forest Falls, roughly 75 miles east of Los Angeles, torrential downpours led to flooding that impacted homes, electricity service and natural gas lines, the San Bernardino County Fire Department said.
Fire crews were searching for potential victims and assessing structural damage.
