Greenville Police say last night around 9:40pm, three men stole a woman’s car on Gower Street at gunpoint. Officers later spotted the car and attempted to pull it over.
The driver led them on a pursuit before crashing on South Academy Street.
GPD said two people jumped out and took off on foot and were never caught. It’s unclear what happened to the third person who was present during the carjacking.
During their investigation officers found that the suspects stopped at the QT on South Academy Street after stealing the vehicle.
The passenger was caught on video inside the store.
