It happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. along 45th Street between Military Trail and Village Boulevard.
According to Public Information Officer Mike Jachles with West Palm Beach police, two cars involved in an ongoing dispute were traveling in the area.
An innocent victim, a woman in her 50s from Riviera Beach, was driving on 45th Street when she swerved from the eastbound lane to the westbound lane into one of the cars.
At that point, the suspects in the vehicle that did not crash, exited the vehicle and opened fire on the other car.
It’s unclear if there was an exchange of gunfire.
