Canadian military investigating if it trained neo-Nazis in Ukraine
The defense dept. has launched a review into the vetting process for foreign military personnel following allegations Canadian troops trained neo-Nazis in Ukraine.
A spox said the armed forces must “look holistically at all missions” when being involved with foreign militaries.
The CAF does not directly vet foreign troops it trains, leaving the responsibility to the nation providing the soldiers instead.
Train first ask questions later?
