A Bartlesville man pleads guilty in federal court to sexually abusing a girl, starting when she was 14 years old.
Caleb Witte is 25.
Federal prosecutors say he admitted on Nov. 11th, 2020, he had sex with a girl who was 15 and said he’d had sexual contact with her from June to November of 2020, when she was 14 most of that time.
They say a school counselor became aware of the abuse and immediately contacted authorities.
Acting U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson says, “Behind every sexual abuse case we pursue, there is a long line of personal and professional advocates who play key roles in supporting victims and seeking justice on their behalf. ”
-Witte will be sentenced in February of 2022.
-This is now a conviction.
