Brooklyn Park police bodycam footage released showing officer shooting man after baby’s death
BringMeTheNews -Body camera footage shows that around 40 minutes later, the father of the dead baby – 24-year-old Oronde Neal Reese – walked into the home during the investigation and locked himself in a bedroom where a gun was stored.
A family member alerted officers and tried to open the door and stop him from harming himself.
As several officers entered the bedroom, a fight broke out as they tried to take the gun away from Reese, who had been rummaging in the closet and had allegedly loaded the gun.
During the fast-escalating struggle captured on bodycam, Officer Momodou Dibba opened fire, striking Reese who was wounded but survived the shooting after lifesaving measures were applied at the scene.
