Body Found in Water Near Rocks on Hartigan Beach Rogers Park, Chicago W Albion Ave.
The body of a 54-year-old man was found dead along the shore of Hartigan Beach Park Friday morning, police say. The CFD found the man from the water at the 1000 block of West Albion Avenue in Rogers Park around 6:50 a.m.
Detectives are conducting a death investigation, pending autopsy results.
Note: The Chicago police closed exactly 400 murder cases in 2021, well above the average solved during each of the last several years. That’s nearly 50 more cases closed than in 2020 and well above the average of 250 in each of the five previous years.
