Billionaire Ray Dalio Warns US and China ‘on the brink’ of war and ‘beyond’ ability to talk
On his way back from China, Dalio posts an article talking about the “great power conflict” between the US and China.
According to Dalio, both countries “are very close to crossing red lines that, if crossed, will irrevocably push them over the brink into some type of war that damages these two countries and causes damage to the world order in severe and irrevocable ways — like Russia’s invasion of Ukraine did for Russia and the world, just much bigger.”
Dalio joins a growing list of leaders warning of a US-China conflict. If this happens, it will at best cripple the world economy, worse case destroy the world we live in.
Both countries need to talk, and a resolution is needed for Taiwan. China continue’s to expand it’s sphere of influence (see recent events in Asia and the Middle East) and its efforts to de-dollarize the world
If there’s one thing we learned from the war in Ukraine, it’s that internationalization and economic interdependence are not sufficient for lasting world peace.
