Authorities are searching for a suspect after a post office in Columbia was robbed at gunpoint.

Authorities are offering a reward for information on a suspect who allegedly robbed a post office in Columbia.

The US Postal Inspection Service said the robbery happened at around 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Eau Claire Post Office. The suspect was reportedly last seen walking southbound on Lamar Street.

The suspect was reportedly last seen wearing a black full-face covering, large sunglasses, a dark jacket, light blue gloves and a black bag with red/yellow/orange striping.

Officials shared a surveillance photo of the suspect taken during the incident, which shows them with a gun in their hand.

The USPIS also said a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the suspect.
