North Aurora police are looking for a man who stole an electric trike from a disabled resident earlier this week.

The trike was stolen around 3:40 p.m. on Monday from the 100 block of South Lincolnway.

According to police, the victim is a local who relies on his bike to get around because he has limited mobility.

The trike is a nearly $3,000 black electric Eco Delta SX trike.

The suspect is described by police as a white male, possibly Hispanic, in his late twenties to early thirties, tall and slender, with a tattoo on his left forearm.

He was photographed wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, a black backpack, and a hat. He arrived at the scene on foot, lugging a blue mountain bike with a flat tire, which he abandoned.

Anyone with information about this person should contact the North Aurora Police Department’s Investigations Division at (630) 897-8705.
