RawNews1st – UCSO NET Concludes Investigation with Arrest of Local Woman. Last week, detectives assigned to the UCSO’s Narcotics Eradication Team (NET), concluded another extensive interdiction operation with the arrest of 34-year-old Audra Winston of Bethel Lane in Indian Trail.
Narcotics detectives began their investigation into reports of alleged narcotics activity in the Bethel Lane area after receiving calls from local concerned citizens.
Narcotics detectives ultimately conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by Winston. During a search, detectives located and seized over 25 grams of methamphetamine on Winston’s person.
Winston was arrested and transported to the Union County Jail where additional, hidden narcotics (illicit fentanyl) were located.

Winston was subsequently charged with numerous offenses including Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Conspiracy to Traffic in Opium or Heroin, PWIMSD Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Jail Facility.
Winston was taken before a local judicial official and currently remains in custody under a secured bond of $131,000.
