Atlanta Police Narcotics Unit Responds to Anonymous Citizen Complaint-Makes Drug Bust and Arrest Drug Trafficker
In November of 2021, the Atlanta Police Narcotics Unit received information from a citizen about activity in an apartment at 223 16th St in NW Atlanta.
Investigators began gathering information and found signs of illegal drug activity and drug manufacturing, including a suspect pouring chemicals down a public storm drain.
After several weeks of investigation, the Narcotics Unit was able to identify suspects and gather enough information to secure a search warrant for the location. On December 1, 2021, Narcotics Unit members executed the search warrant at the apartment.
Two suspects were arrested, and the investigators recovered a firearm, illegal narcotics, equipment used to forge documents, and fraudulent identification cards.
Arrested in the case were:
Christopher Albert, age 39 – convicted felon with 10 arrest cycles. Charged with
• Trafficking Heroin
• Trafficking Methamphetamine
• Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
• Possession of Schedule II Narcotics with Intent to Distribute
• Possession of False Identification Documents
• Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
Brooke Holeman, age 33 – 1 arrest cycle. Charged with
• Possession of Forgery Device
• Possession of False Identification Documents
Recovered by the Investigators in this case:
• 535 grams of heroin
• 6 pounds of marijuana
• 349 Oxycodone pills
• 460 grams of Xanax pills
• 43 grams of methamphetamine
• 2 packages of THC infused edible candies
• 1 9mm handgun
• $477 in cash
• 1 printing machine
• Several fake driver’s licenses and credit cards
