Sudan, Africa: Battles erupted yesterday between Sudan’s army and a paramilitary group called the Rapid Support Forces.

The RSF claims they now control the country’s presidential palace, the army chief’s residence and the Khartoum international airport, Trey Yingst reports.

At least 70 people in Sudan’s capital are dead and 400 are injured as rival military factions fight to control the country, UN officials said.
