Illegal Channel Crossings Soar – At Least 1,000 Migrants Attempt to Enter UK in ONE DAY! (Report)
At least 1,000 men, women and children have attempted to illegally cross the Channel to enter the UK on Monday, according to witnesses – surpassing the previous record of 828 migrants on Aug. 21.
(Sky News)Better weather conditions and calm waters have been attributed to the high number of migrants after weeks of unsettled conditions.
As of Sunday, more than 12,500 migrants have crossed the Channel in 2021, according to PA news agency, eclipsing last year’s annual total of 8,417.
