Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies make an arrest in an aggravated assault incident. The incident took place at Windy Hill Manor located at 4151 Log Cabin Drive.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a distress call in regard to a person who had been stabbed in the back.
When deputies arrived, they made contact with the victim.
Deputies secured the scene so that the victim could receive treatment for his wounds by paramedics.
The victim reported 62-year-old Craig Adams entered his apartment and confronted him over a ride he needed, but the victim couldn’t oblige Adams at the time.
Adams, who was frustrated, got into a physical altercation with the victim. During the scuffle, the victim noticed blood on his back and that Adams was holding a knife. The knife was taken from Adams, who then fled the scene.

During the investigation, deputies located Craig Adams nearby and took him into custody, the knife was also recovered.
The victim was transported to a medical facility where he was treated for his injuries. He is in stable condition.
Craig Adams was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He was charged with Aggravated Assault.
