Arrest has been made suspect after he removed his court-ordered electronic monitoring device

(Fayetteville, NC) – After removing the electronic monitoring device he was court ordered to wear, Austin Randall has been located and arrested. Officers followed up on an anonymous tip that lead to his location.

Randall was located at the Coliseum Inn in Fayetteville, NC. He was taken into custody and served with numerous outstanding processes by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department.

A collaborative effort of the Fayetteville Police Department’s Electronic Monitoring Unit, Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, Crime Information Center, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department and an anonymous tipster lead to the capture of Randall.
