Raw_News1st – At 9:44 pm officers responded to the Stop and Shop located at 501 Trollinger Street in reference to an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the store clerk, who stated that they were robbed at gunpoint by a black male wearing dark-colored clothing, displaying a handgun.
The male took an undisclosed amount of cash along with other items contained in the store. Nobody was injured during the robbery.
The Burlington Police Department is in the early stages of the investigation, and more information may be forthcoming.
