ARMED ROBBERY AND SHOOTING AT BEELINE STORE IN CALLAWAY
On September 9, at approximately 3 am, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the clerk of the Beeline Store on Cherry Street in Callaway. She told dispatchers that she had been shot. Upon arrival, Deputies secured the scene and provided medical attention to the clerk until EMS arrived.
When Bay County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrived they were able to get a description of the suspect.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing womens clothing with a covering over his face and possibly a wig.
The suspect demanded money then fired one shot striking the store clerk at which time he ran from the store. The clerk was treated and released from the hospital.
