AOC, the Squad force Dems NIX $1BN Israeli Iron Dome funding from stopgap spending bill!
Mainstream Dems were unable to pass a $1 BILLION bill to fund Iron Dome because some progressives within the party and a number of Republicans would not vote for the it citing the debt ceiling as the reason.
The White House immediately began working to reverse the decision a diplomatic source said, per Jerusalem Post
Not long before the decision, President Biden told the UN General Assembly “The commitment of the United States to Israel’s security is without question and our support for an independent Jewish state is unequivocal.”
